This bucket hat is a crochet beginner friendly pattern that only requires you to know: single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet and slip stitch. The entire pattern is worked in the round. This should be a fun introduction to granny squares and become your new favourite hat for every season!

Materials

Koigu Kersti DK Merino Crêpe (50g) (substitute Koigu Jasmine)

• 6 skeins total 2 x K0000 (natural white in example) Colour A

• 3 x colours that complement each other (for the flower petals), 1 skein each. Colours C, D, E

• 1 x contrasting colour (this will be the centre of all of your flowers) Colour B.

*Note* You do not need very much of each colour (other than the main colour (A)) so you may also use partial skeins/stash yarn for the 4 contrasting colours instead of full skeins. Just make sure they are all DK weight. You can also use other fibres for this project, it just may drape differently!
