Infinite Card

My oldest sister has always been an inspiration to me. She's a very spiritual, artistic and passionate and person so I thought it only fitting to create a card that reflected the infinite possibilities of her 30's for her 30th birthday. The big 3-0!

I sketched in pencil first then solidified the design with a variety of thicknesses of black pen from Muji and Cricut.

The stars and galaxy spill over the edge of the black circle in a way that was inspired by David Huynh's drawing style in pen and ink. Check him out on Instagram! He's extremely talented and is from near my hometown.

To complete the card I wrote a little poem:

Once finished, I decided that a gift for my sister with her design made uniquely for her would be really cool. So, I vectorized the doodle on Adobe Illustrator.

From there, I uploaded the png file of infinite onto Society6 and decided it perfectly suited being on a clock for my sister's home office. She put it up on her wall and looks so fun and completely matches her clean colourful chic style.
